Navajo artist Herman Smith made this beautiful and unique hummingbird pin/pendant. He has filled the piece with three beautiful stone, a piece of Kingman Turquoise along with deep red spiny oyster shells. Surrounding the stones, you will find signature Herman Smith silver, heavy and traditionally styled. You will find stamp work, silver drops, hammered beads, and bump outs. The finishing beak completes the piece and just gives it a wonderful look. Hummingbirds fill gardens in the Southwest during the summertime and Herman has done a perfect job of capturing the magnificent beauty of the bird and this rare still position. This will look great worn as a pin or pendant, so donÕt worry about that until you get it out of the box.
