Gorgeous sky blue turquoise, dark red Mediterranean Coral, black jet and Mother of Pearl Shell fill this pair of dangle earrings. Not one, but two Sunfaces fill the unique dangling design made by Zuni artist Burdian Soseeah. The Zuni Sunface is a very familiar in our area. We all know that the Zuni and Pueblo cultures are a farming people, very different than the nomadic people like the Navajo. So it is logical that the sun plays a vital role in Zuni culture. It is celebrated in the art of the Zuni where you will find the Sunface decorating clay, wood, and silver.
