Roy Tracy, Bracelet, Persian Turquoise, Silver, Tufa, Navajo Handmade, 6 3/4"
Roy Tracy, Bracelet, Persian Turquoise, Silver, Tufa, Navajo Handmade, 6 3/4"
Navajo silversmith Roy Tracey comes from a very traditional family. His grandfather Descheeny Nez Tracy was always dressed traditionally with beautiful turquoise jewelry. Roy makes his pieces the traditional way, all by hand. This bracelet is impressive and showcases a classic piece of Persian Turquoise. John Adair in his book The Navajo and Pueblo Silversmiths suggests that Persian Turquoise was the first used in Navajo silver. You are going to be blown away by silver work. Long bump outs fill this tufa cast creation and give it a turn of the 20th century look.
