This beautiful piece of silver and turquoise was converted into a bolo from a pin. Navajo artist Tim Yazzie was related to Sadie Calvin and you can see a very familiarity in their work. You will find the large natural piece of Turquoise Mountain surrounded by the signature stamped silver leaf. Great silversmiths are able to take magnificent pieces of turquoise and equal that beauty with their silver work, Tim Yazzie was one of those silversmiths. A fascinating water web weaves its way through the oversized stone, the crack does not cause any problems. The bolo has been hung on a braided leather cord and finished with sterling silver tips. If you are a collector this is definitely a piece you will want to consider.
