The late Navajo silversmith Steven J Begay made this incredible bolo. Steven made the bolo with his popular contemporary overlay technique, stunning. However, even though technique is contemporary the design is traditional Navajo. The center of the bolo has an old style design, often found associated with a bow guard. On the edge of the bow guard style rectangle bolo Steven uses more stunning traditional stamp designs, ones that compliment the bold center. The bolo is strapped to a thick leather braided cord that has heavy sterling silver tips decorated with five lines. In New Mexico you see lots of men wear a bolo, it is our State Tie, and they look fantastic on. Imagine this on one during your next meeting, you will feel the power of boldness wearing this First American handmade creation.
