Take me back to the 1990s. You would find several different artists who made this popular three piece style belt. Navajo silversmith Tommy Jackson made this incredible piece. He has puzzled together a variety of turquoise stones, coral and blue lapis to make the rug inspired inlaid design. You will find the colorful inlaid pieces surrounded by more Navajo rug inspired silver. A deep pattern against mirror shined sterling silver really makes the design stand out. Today, Tommy has become so popular and markets his styles so well that other smiths help him with the process. However, the age of this might just mean this is an all Tommy Jackson creation. In the 1990s he was making lots of heavy silver and bold inlay designs, long before it became common.?
