Navajo artist Larry Moses Begay learned the craft from his father Victor.??In a very traditional part of the Navajo Nation, Lukachukai, the Begay family has been perfecting cluster jewelry for decades. Larry made this gorgeous concho belt during the 1980s. He uses a nearly 400 pieces of gorgeous sky blue Kingman Turquoise stones to fill the 16 pieces. You will find the stones showing hints of golden colored matrix. Traditional Navajo stamp work surrounds the stones and is made up of flat and bump out designs. A thick piece of genuine black leather holds the buckle, conchos and flies in place and offers an incredible style on. If you are looking to add a piece of collectible art to your collection you might have found it.?
